Splitboard
Splitboard hire in Morzine and Les Gets.
First of all, what is a splitboard? It’s a snowboard that splits into two halves, like a pair of skis, so you can climb with skins, just as in ski touring or telemark. The two halves then clip back together into a regular snowboard for the descent.

Quality kit from Plum and Burton
For our splitboards we work with Plum, a splitboard specialist from Haute-Savoie, like us. Their boards and bindings are handmade in the Alps, with serious attention to detail. We are proud to support local makers and to rent out their products. Our splitboards suit riders from intermediate to advanced level.
The board: Plum Prems

The Prems is Plum’s all-rounder, at home in powder, spring snow or on hard, icy slopes. A great board to explore the backcountry.
- Handmade in Haute-Savoie
- Camber with rocker at both tips, for grip where you need it and easy float in powder
- Paulownia and ash wood core, light and lively
- Hardened steel edges for solid grip on firm snow
- Sintered base for good glide
The bindings: Plum
We fit our boards with Plum splitboard bindings, from the same local maker. Light, precise and built for touring as much as for riding down.
The boots: Burton
We also rent Burton snowboard boots for customers who don’t have their own.
